Standing up Alice started to pace around the room. "Okay, obviously you don't like the idea of joining a Pirate crew, let alone have a Capitan that is much younger then you. You saw what we did to your former crew who didn't seem fit. If you would like you can certainly let you off." Alice said in a threatening tone. She hated Threatening her crew but men usually wouldn't listen unless she did. She thought this Charles could be useful but she needed a faithful crew who wouldn't ruin her plans. "Look at it this way, you are now a higher rank and my first mates are always treated well including better living Quarters and food. So, will you swear you will be loyal to me and always be by my side?" She asked standing by the Man's side holding out her hand.

"You misunderstand me my dear" Charles said as he reached for her hand, "my objection comes from force of habit more than anything." This was somewhat true, he had joined the CIS as a career soldier, not for revenge, and his years as a merchant in tough times brought him to understand the hardships that would reduce even civilized men to piracy. Still, years of fighting had brought a healthy level of hate. He forced himself to push aside these feelings for the sake of his crew, hiding this struggle under the hardened, resolved face of a soldier. "I'm sure serving under you will be a pleasure" Charles said as he shook her hand, giving a small smile as he rose. "Shall I tell the men to set sail for port?"

"Aye sir. Also make sure they know, any treason or mutiny will be dealt with in harsh manner." Alice said skeptical of her crew men. Alice left her first mate to deal with the sailing while she approached the former Captain. "I need the prints by sun down." "Aye Captain." He said in a meek tone. "Very well. Carry on." she said walking away. Alice sat upon deck watching the proceedings take place. Men were tieing her old boat, as she called it, to the ship, others readying the sails and others running around not sure what to do. "I will need to mold these men into sailors, not cabin boys. When we make port better cannons will be purchased and dills will take place. I need well trained men for my plans." she thought to herself with a grin upon her lips.

Eniphox glanced up at the man approaching his table. "You should know that everyone in this kind of place has a price on their head, and avoiding the threat of poison is wise wherever you are. That's not to say I'm not better than the rest of you though." He winked and kicked one of the dingy wooden stools, pushing it away from the table and towards the man. Eniphox then procured a second wineglass from his coat pocket and placed on the table. "I always carry two, just in case." He cracked a grin. "Care to join me, friend? A little pleasant conversation sounds nice right now."
The man probably had no useful information, and the evening would more likely than not be a waste, but it was worth it in the long run. Eniphox had long lost count of the number of encounters that started like this and ended in valuable new crewmen or vital information. Luck. Fate. Chance. These were three things that could ruin the best sailors and bring glory to the worst. Eniphox didn't need to rely on the first, and frankly didn't believe in the second, but chance was a force he respected. This conversation may be a waste of time, but it may also be the single most important thing to happen today. Until it was over, he wouldn't know which it was.

"Well alright then." Rurick grunted as he sat down still stiff and a little sore from his previous escapades. As he drew the glass near he noted the quality of the wine.
"You sir, know how to drink, but tell me, how is it you came about such a fine vintage." After taking a sip he waited to see if this was a man with a plan and even better a ship, or just a free drink to waste some time. either way he had nothing better to do and longed to be back to sea.

A few days later the ship made port. Alice informed the crew to stay on board while she went into the town to do some business. On her way along the dock Alice spotted a magnificent Ship. Alice asked the Guard stationed alongside what the name of the ship was and if she could take a tour. "It hasn't been named Miss. She is waiting to be purchased by her first owner. I can certainly let you come aboard to look around" the Guard said to Alice. On board Alice was taken around the huge ship. She had a large Capitan's quarters, kitchen, dining area, and crew quarters. The top deck was wide and fully equipped with cannons. The sun shined off the white tethered sails. Alice was satisfied. "Where could I negotiate a price?" Alice asked the Guard. "This is a Man's ship Miss." answered the Guard surprised. He suspected the young lady was just looking at the beauty in the craftsmanship. "Of course sir. My Brother has two old ships and a crew needing of a brand new vessel. He sent me to negotiate." She said innocently. "Oh, of course Miss. Sorry for the misinterpretation. The office at the end of the dock takes care of all the handling's." said the Guard ashamed of the way he treated the young miss. "Thank you sir." Alice said nodding. A few hours later Alice returned to the old ships. She walked on board and stood on the rail. "Listen. I have sold this vessel and that thing." She said pointing to the "boat" she had before taking over the ship. "Grab all the equipment and your belongings. Take them to the Ship five down from us. That shall be your new home. Her name is The Sea Sapphire when in port, on the sea her name is The Bloody Jacky. Any questions? Good. Charles, Choose three trustworthy men to transport my items , and yours to the The Bloody Jacky and then report to me immediately. Dismiss!" Alice said with a sly grin upon her lips. Her luck was beginning to change she thought to herself.
